Structure of the Design Area in a company undergoing Digital Transformation
I worked as a lead Product Designer, where I created a Design System from scratch and defined the mid-term vision for the product screens, covering screens, components, and interaction patterns. This foundation was applied to a pilot back-office workflow, resulting in a modern, scalable system with a clear direction for the future.

As a starting point, I translated the visual identity of SESI into the essential components to kick off the project. As the work evolved, I mapped and developed new components as new demands emerged. In the end, I delivered a robust Design System, ready for production, which ensures consistency and efficiency among the teams.
The result was the delivery of a robust Design System ready for production, ensuring visual consistency, scalability, and efficiency in collaboration among the teams.
The components were built from variables and organized into a simple and replicable structure, facilitating their maintenance and adoption. In addition, the entire system was developed following the WCAG accessibility requirements, meeting the AA level.
With the wireframes of the main product flows created and validated with the stakeholders, I continued the project by applying the Design System to the screens.
During the creation of the screens, the need to create other more specific components for certain flows was identified and updated for the Design System.
