Context and Challenge.

During SESI's digital transformation, the pilot team—composed of developers and a business analyst—faced challenges in aligning business requirements with a clear usability vision to create a quality product. The lack of strategic direction affected their ability to deliver the ideal user experience.

My mission was to introduce the Design vision to the team, establishing a replicable model within the company.

My contribution during this period focused on three main pillars:

Structuring discovery processes and idea validation;

Creating a Design System from scratch;

Designing the final product.

UX/UI

Creating the Design System.

As a starting point, I translated SESI's visual identity into the core components needed to kick off the project. As the work progressed, I mapped and developed new components as demands arose.

In the end, I delivered a robust and comprehensive Design System, ready to be used by other teams, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the development of the ecosystem.

Designing the product.

SESI, an educational institution, was developing a platform for managing registrations and providing services for courses and events. My team was responsible for structuring this digital solution, ensuring efficiency and an intuitive user experience.

The goal was to modernize the outdated system, which faced numerous usability and performance issues. We aimed to create an intuitive and efficient experience, enabling attendants to perform registrations and queries more quickly — the primary performance indicator for the operational team.

My first step was to map and design all the system's flows, screens, and behaviors in low fidelity to validate them with the business and operations teams.

Final screens.

With the wireframes designed and validated, I moved on to creating high-fidelity screens while implementing the Design System.

The system is a back-office platform for an educational center, so the flows and screens consist of search, registration, and query sessions for programs, courses, and products.

Development began with the most complex system flow: product and offer acquisition.

This is a purchase flow with the following stages: customer search and selection, offer search and selection, and payment.
