Developing a system for

managing fleets of electric airplanes

For six months, I worked on the expansion of the digital area of a company that builds electric airplanes, contributing to the development of the integration and management system for the aircraft marketed for the product launch.

The system was focused on managing the end customer's fleet, offering functionalities that supported strategic decision-making and promoted a smarter and more efficient operation.

Final deliveries

A little about the flows and screens of the design projects I led.

Home screen

One of the main projects I worked on was the design of the Home screen, created based on an understanding of the needs of the operations manager. The solution was based on the hypothesis that, to be efficient in day-to-day operations, the homepage should act as a task guide, anticipating and prioritizing actions through the intelligence of the system itself.

The process I used for this project was as follows:
In order to align the expectations of all stakeholders, I facilitated a dynamics session to define the rationale that should guide us in the development.

With the rationale defined and my understanding of user behavior, I designed the screen proposal that best fit the context.

The screen has been divided into 4 sections: Big numbers; Activities; Schedule; Task track.

The experience was structured around "tasks", with the aim of simplifying the use of the platform and guiding the user directly to the most relevant actions.

The tasks have been organized by categories and differentiated by colors and icons according to their priority, providing a clear and actionable view of the fleet's operation.

VTOL delivery flow

Another major project I worked on was designing the workflow for tracking and managing the delivery of the eVTOL. This is the workflow where the user monitors all the stages of the delivery process of their aircraft.

Because this is a sensitive moment in the buying journey, the project required a deep understanding of the context and the expectations involved.

To do this, I conducted conversations with stakeholders and mapped journeys and flows in detail before moving on to the ideation stage.

The flow involved multiple scenarios and screens that were broken down from the discovery stages to the definition of an initial proposal.

One of the main challenges was dealing with the wide variety of scenarios and rules associated with different contracts and statuses, requiring distinct screen structures depending on the type and volume of information presented.

The statuses defined both the content displayed and the jobs to be done by the user, since each step of the process required specific actions within the flow.
