Remote work has allowed me to explore Brazil and experience unique adventures over the past two years. Currently, I live in Florianópolis, in southern Brazil, with my partner, Maria Cristina, and our daughter, Maria Antonieta Filha—affectionately nicknamed Tiêta by close friends, as a tribute to the beloved character from Jorge Amado’s renowned novel.I strive to savor life and the nuances of everyday moments. In my free time, you’ll find me playing sports or enjoying precious moments with friends and family. Whether sipping a refined drink in a sophisticated bar or sitting outside a quirky establishment with questionable cuisine at a plastic table—in the latter case, often sparking debates with friends about topics that can occasionally veer into the tedious, such as the harmful effects of capitalism on the world and peripheral countries, or how alternative economic and social models hold greater promise for humanity’s future. Okay, I admit, it’s not always the most exciting dinner conversation, but I promise I’m well-versed in plenty of equally captivating topics! My aspiration is to live each day as if it were incomparable, embracing the opportunities life graciously offers us.
